Made properly

Each voice is set as a book would set it: a proper measure, ragged right, paragraph breaks kept, the lettering stepping down in fixed sizes until every word stands inside the sheet, and the names, the date and the ornaments in the range's own lettering on its papers and backgrounds. Nothing is cut, and nothing is fetched.

  • The words you said, kept. Vows are said once, to one person, and then they live in a notes app. This sets them properly: two voices side by side or one above the other under your names and the date, or one voice for the best man's speech, the father of the bride, a reading. Every word you type is on the sheet — nothing is cut, and the lettering steps down until it all stands inside the paper.
  • Set like a book, not a birthday card. Each voice is set ragged in a proper measure with paragraph breaks kept, the name above it in small capitals with a short rule, the couple's names in the display lettering at the head, the date and place in small capitals beneath. Rules with a diamond at each end, drawn stems either side, or the names inside a drawn wreath.
  • Your colours, your lettering, your paper. Seven colourways from ivory to midnight, five kinds of lettering, five papers, and the range's painted backgrounds — a watercolour wash, a snowfall, a scatter of colour. A line of your own at the foot: I do. In every weather. Keep the kettle on.

Questions

How much can I fit?
About three hundred words a voice with two voices, and around five hundred for a single speech. If the words run past the sheet the page says by roughly how many words, so you can trim a line, not guess.
Can it be a speech, or a reading?
Yes. Choose One voice and name the speaker however you like — Tom, best man; Her dad; A reading, by Nana — and the words are set as one column under the couple's names.
Can I change it later?
Yes. Keep the link to your design and open it again — a first anniversary, a copy for the parents — and order another. Nothing is drawn by hand. The share link carries the whole design, so it keeps working; an unfinished design saved at the basket is kept for 90 days, and a bought print's approved artwork is kept for reorders.
