Information we collect
We may collect your name, email address, billing and delivery details, telephone number if you choose to provide one, order and payment status, account details, messages, returns information, device and browser information, IP address, cookie identifiers and records of site use. Payment providers process full card details; AntiRecreation does not receive your full card number.
How we use information
We use personal information to take payment and fulfil orders; provide accounts and customer service; prevent fraud and protect the store; meet tax, accounting and legal duties; understand and improve store performance; and send marketing where we have a lawful basis and you can unsubscribe.
Our lawful bases under UK data-protection law include performing a contract, meeting legal obligations, our legitimate interests in operating and protecting the store, and consent where required.
Who receives information
We share only what is reasonably needed with providers involved in running the store, including Shopify, payment processors, Gelato and other print or fulfilment partners, delivery carriers, hosting, analytics, security, customer-support and professional advisers. We may disclose information where required by law or to protect legal rights. We do not sell personal information for money.
International transfers
Some providers process information outside the United Kingdom. Where required, transfers are protected by an adequacy decision, approved contractual safeguards or another lawful mechanism.
Cookies
The store uses cookies for essential functions such as the basket, checkout, security and preferences and, with your choice where required, for analytics or marketing. Use Cookie preferences in the footer to review non-essential choices.
Retention and security
We keep information only as long as reasonably needed to fulfil orders, handle disputes and meet legal, tax and accounting duties. We and our providers use reasonable safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, UK data-protection law may give you rights to access, correct or erase information; restrict or object to processing; receive portable data; and withdraw consent. You may object to direct marketing at any time. Legal exceptions can apply.
