Made properly
Birth details prints are usually a template with the facts typed into boxes. Ours is set by a typesetter that measures every line — the name sized to fit, the facts closing up around what you give — and the pictures are ours: seventeen gouache flowers painted for this range, the real face of the Moon, drawn botanicals. The same standard as every print we make.
- The facts of the day, set properly. Their name large, then born, at, weighing, measuring and where — as a grid, as lines, or in one row divided by dots. Then the facts nobody has to type, worked out from the date: the day of the week, the star sign, the birthstone, the birth flower and the Moon's phase that night. Leave out anything you would rather not print; the sheet closes up around what is there, so a birth with no length or no time is never a print with a gap in it.
- A picture from the day they arrived. The flower of their birth month, painted in gouache for our Birth Flower Garden — a June rose, a December holly. Or the Moon exactly as it hung that night, its phase named and drawn from the real lunar face. Or drawn botanical stems, a wreath round the name, or the words alone.
- Your colours, your paper, your background. Six colourways from ivory to midnight, five kinds of lettering, five papers and a set of painted backgrounds — watercolour blooms, colour dust, frost, snowfall. A line above the name and a line at the foot in your own words.

- Personalised items cannot be returned because you changed your mind. Your statutory rights still apply if an item is faulty, damaged, or not as described.

- If your print arrives damaged, misprinted or not as you approved it, send us a photo and we reprint it free of charge.
