Made properly

The chart is cast from the birth itself — the planets from published orbital tables, the ascendant and Midheaven from the sidereal time at the place, Placidus houses by the proper iteration — draws the sign and planet glyphs as line art in the range's own lettering, nudges crowded glyphs apart while ticking where each planet truly stands, and prints the house system and the tropical zodiac on every sheet.

  • Cast for the minute and the place. Type the birth — the date, the time, the town — and the chart is cast while you watch: the Sun, the Moon and the eight planets where they stood in the zodiac, the rising sign at the left as every chart has it, the Midheaven at the top, the twelve houses cut from them, and the aspects drawn across the middle. The same astronomy runs on the page and on the print, so what you see is what is printed.
  • Honest about what it knows. No birth time? The chart is drawn for noon with no ascendant and no houses, and says so in small capitals beneath the wheel. Born inside the Arctic Circle, where the usual houses have no answer? It falls back to whole-sign houses and says that too. The house system and the tropical zodiac are printed on every sheet.

Questions

What if I don't know the birth time?
Leave it blank. The planets are drawn for noon that day — the Moon can move about six degrees either side over the day — and the sheet prints the date alone, without an ascendant or houses, and says so.
How accurate are the positions?
The Sun to a hundredth of a degree, the Moon to a few minutes of arc, the planets to a fraction of a degree (Mercury and Pluto to about a degree) between 1800 and 2050, from the same published tables the star map print uses. The ascendant depends on the exact birth time: four minutes moves it about a degree.
Can I change it later?
Yes. Keep the link to your design and open it again — a different wheel, a sibling's chart — and order another. Nothing is drawn by hand. The share link carries the whole design, so it keeps working; an unfinished design saved at the basket is kept for 90 days, and a bought print's approved artwork is kept for reorders.
