Sending a gift?

  • Uncoated matte paper, 200 gsm (170 gsm in the 30x45 frame). Frames are wood, glazed with plexiglass, and arrive ready to hang. Unframed prints ship rolled in a tube.
  • Made to order and printed in New Zealand. No import fees.
  • T-shirts and tote bags are printed in Australia.
  • Mug: 11 oz white ceramic. T-shirt: Gildan 5000, white or natural. Tote bag: natural.

What arrives — full materials and frame details
Poster
A flat print on 200 gsm (80 lb) uncoated matte paper — no frame, no mount.
Framed print
Uncoated matte paper, mounted in a wood frame (12 mm face, 22 mm depth) behind plexiglass: 170 gsm (65 lb) in the 30x45 frame, 200 gsm (80 lb) in the 40x60 and 60x90. It arrives ready to hang.

Made properly

Every print is set by the same typesetter as our other prints: the engraving printed in the sheet's own ink, never a pasted picture, the name sized to fit and the paper and background from our own range. On a dark sheet the engraving sits on cream, never turned to a negative.

  • An engraving-style portrait. A bank-note engraving of their head and shoulders, drawn line by line in one hand, printed large in the sheet's own ink. Forty-two breeds and pets, from the Labrador and the cockapoo to the ginger tabby, the rabbit and the horse — many in full length too.
  • Drawn from your own photo. Upload a clear photo of their face and we engrave them in the same hand in about twenty seconds, so it is their markings and their look — not just the breed.
  • Just their name, set properly. The name beneath in the lettering you choose, sized to fit, a long name on two lines; and, if you like, a small line under it — their years, a nickname or a few words of your own.

Personalised items cannot be returned because you changed your mind. Your statutory rights still apply if an item is faulty, damaged, or not as described.

Questions

What photo works best?
A clear, well-lit photo of their face, looking towards the camera, with nothing in front of them. We keep only the engraving, never your photo.
Can it be a memorial?
Yes. Put their years in the small line — 2012 – 2024 — or a few words of your own, and choose the colours and setting you like. Nothing on the print says more than you write.
Can I change it later?
Yes. Keep the link to your design and open it again to order another. The share link carries the whole design; an unfinished design saved at the basket is kept for 90 days, and a bought print's approved artwork is kept for reorders.
